Park Tae-hwan wins Gold Medal in Swimming in Olympics 2008

Park Tae-hwan of Republic of Korea has won gold medak in Men’s 400m Freestyle Swimming. While China’s Zhang Lin was second with Silver Medal with Larsen Jensen of the United States at third won Bronze Medal.

Park Tae hwan is the member of South Korean National Swimming team, based in Taereung, Seoul. Park Tae hwan started swimming at the age of 5 to cure Asthma.

Park Tae hwan won three gold medals , one silver medal and three bronze medals in the 2006 Asian Games in Doha,

Park Tae hwan was named the 2006 Pacific Rim Male Swimmer of the Year by Swimming World Magazine when he beat multiple Olympic gold medalist Grant Hackett.
