Tokyo governor to attend Beijing Olympics opening ceremony

Tokyo Governor Shintaro Ishihara in a News Conference said that he is going to attend the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympic Games 2008 scheduled for August 8 2008 this summer. in Beijing China , Asia.

The Tokyo Governor Ishihara wants observe Beijing 2008 Olympic games Opening Ceremony closely to learn some management techniques for Olympic games 2016 for which Tokyo is in the race for host country.

Along with Tokyo Chicago, Madrid and Rio de Janeiro are other countries who want to host 2016 Summer Olympics. The International Olympic Committee - IOC is expected to announce its selection of the host city on Oct, 2, 2009.

Indian Athlete Monika devi withdraws from olympic games

Indian Athlete Monika devi failed in the dope test. So she will be out of Indian squads from the Atheleted who are participating in Beijing 2008 Olympic games in China.

Indian athlete Weightlifter Monica Devi is weightlifter.Monica tested positive for anabolic salt in a test conducted on June 29, just before she was flying to Beijing the host venue of Olympic 2008 games.

Indian athlete Monika devi is a A silver medal winner in the 69kg category at the 2006 Commonwealth Games
