New RBI Governor D subbarao Photo / Image / PIC The Government of India on Monday named Finance secretary D Subbarao has been names as new RBI Governor by the Government of India.
D Subbarao will replace the current RBI Governor Yaga Venugopal Reddy.
Yaga Venugopal Reddy will be Governor of RBI - Reserve Bank of India till next week. After that D subbarao will be appointed as a Governor of Reserve Bank of India for Next 3 years as told by Indian Finance Minister P. Chidambaram to the press media.
D subbarao done his IAS in 1972 batch.
