The show was directed by Gajendra Singh, creator of the famous Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and also judges who were there on the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa , Aadesh Srivastav, Abhijeet Bhattacharya, Alka Yagnik, Lalit Pandit and Jatin Pandit. Shaan is the host of SVOI ( Star Voice of India ) and has left Sa Re Ga Ma Pa.
Ishmeet singh shocked every one in India by reaching the final of svoi. He was weakest singers amongst who reached the finals of star voice of India.

Update on 29th july 2008 : in an Unfortunate event , Ishmeet has died in Maldive by drowning into swimming pool. Ishmeet was in Maldive for some concert along with other Star VOI contestants.
