2.25 lakh people are set to appear for CAT 2007 MBA entrance exam CAT to be conducted by IIM ( Indian Institute of Management ) all over india on 18th November 2007 . Other than six IIMs ( IIM Ahmedabad , IIM Bangalore , IIM Calcutta , IIM Kozhikode , IIM Lucknow , IIM Indore ) many top bschools of india uses CAT score to shortlist the students for next stage in the admission process that it GDPI.
In last few years the craze for MBA has grownup , thanks to the Indian Media for hyping Placement figures. Last year the no. of applicant was close to 1. lakh but this year it has extended to 2.25 lakh. The no of seats still remain very less. the competition is tough. all IIM aspirants are bussy in revising their basics & solving mock cat papers , chating with TIME , IMS , Career Luncher counselors on rediff celebrity chat , reading tips & tricks to bell the cat , praying the god so one can get into one of the iims etc.
I have some tips / advices for CAT 2008 aspirants. Here I go...
(1) This is last week before CAT. Now You should Stop learning new things. Just revise what ever you have learned in Quant , Verbal ability i.e English , Logical reasoning & Data Interpretation.
(2) Try to solve atleast 3 mock cat this week. Before Saturday.
(3) If you cant understand any topic leave it. It is not compulsory that topic is surely gonna come in CAT 2008. Instead do revise what you already know.
(4) If you are feeling stress just have a light talk with your parents , friends about bollywood , cricket whatever you like. You can watch Mr. bean series to light up your mood.
(5) Please make your tool box ready 2 days before the exam date. Make sure that you have placed 2 ball pens , 2-4 pencils , erasers , sharpener & Most importantly Your CAT ID Card.
